The TAFS Junior school is following CBSE’s scheme of school-based evaluation at the Primary level too. The Academic session is divided into two terms where the areas of physical development, emotional development and aesthetic development apart from cognitive development are also evaluated following the 3-point Rating Scale. Along with these the child’s personal and social qualities, attitude and interest are also taken into consideration. The objective of introducing this scheme of evaluation in our school is to bring continuous improvement in the performance of the students through constant diagnosis of gaps and difficulties in learning and helping them to overcome these through remediation of instructions. This enables the parents to get a detailed insight into his child’s growth and performance.
