The Junior Wing put up an art exhibition titled ‘Art Endeavours’ , on 22 Mar 2013, the Open House Day; Different classes put up their art work in different styles. The area of work included the following :

• Tribal expression – Madhubani & Work Style.
• Shimmer & Shine – glass  paintings
• The Trees Divine – Types of trees – realistic & abstract.
• Thoughtful Reflections – Jamini Roy style, divide & colour, shading with colour/pencil, free hand tearing & pasting work and collage work.

The creativity of the Junior TAFSians found their expressions through different medium.

An overnight adventure camp was organized in the junior school premises by “Climb up”, an adventure based research organization, on 9^th March to 10^th March 2013. The aim of the camp was to develop many life skills in children which are an important aspect of their learning process.

During the camp adventure activities such as valley crossing, wall climbing, double rope bridge, swinging ladder, Burma bridge, Commando Net, Commando Crawl, Tarzan swing, Tug of war, Tent pitching etc. were carried out. Other fun activities like magic show, puppet show, blind sheep, treasure hunt, talent night, DJ party yoga & exercises were also conducted which children thoroughly enjoyed. The children also enjoyed sumptuous meals and experienced living together with classmates and their teachers. They experienced the camp life during their stay in the tents and their excitement was high pitched.

Students of class V participated in the ‘Hasya Kavita Pratiyogita’ held on 7^th March 13. The poems chosen and recited by the children were witty and humorous. They also conveyed a message about the importance of humour in our life. With this competition we ended the session on a happy note. The winners were as follows:
