Aeroplanet Programme - Junior School

470 students from classes I to IV visited Aeroplanet, Dwarka for a fun filled aircraft experience in the first two weeks of May 2013. Holding their boarding passes in hand, the students were thrilled to board a real Airbus A 300 and learnt how to use the seat belt, oxygen mask and life jacket through a flight safety demo . The emergency exit slide from Airbus A 300 and the air turbulence experience in the CRJ Jet Aircraft were a unique experience. A disaster management drill with safety measures was conducted in the cargo section of the plane ,where after faux fire& smoke were created ,the emergency lights were switched on and the children crawled through the aisle and exited the plane through another emergency slide. Excitement levels were very high when they visited the cockpit section of the plane where they saw various panels and buttons , and how the pilot exits in case of an emergency. Music and dance, trampoline jumping, rope trolley ride and balancing beam were other entertaining activities enjoyed by the children. Light snacks were served to all the students . The trip was educational as well as a fun experience and was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.

Gizmos and Geeks

Class V Activity – April 13



The students of class V participated in the event “Gizmos and Geeks” – a power point presentation competition on the topic – Balanced Diet during the week 22 April to 27 April 2013.
The whole class participated in this event. They created slides with graphics, animations, text and pictures.

Junior School Investiture Ceremony - 2013-2014

The Junior Wing organized the Investiture Ceremony on 27 April 2013 in the school premises. The student council consisting of the school captains and the discipline prefects were given the oath of undertaking by the Chief Guest, Wg Cdr HCS Chauhan, Executive Director, TAFS. The guest of honour Ms Amita Gupta, the Vice Principal, also invested the members of the student council and congratulated them on this occasion. The choir sang a melodious inspirational song on the occasion. The members of the student council pledged to perform their duties with utmost sincerity and responsibility. It was a proud moment for the appointees and their parents. The ceremony concluded with the rendition of the Air Force Schools’ Song.
