The guests viewed an art and sculpture exhibition depicting the various moods and emotional states-the rasas that rule every individual. The paintings and sculptures on show, displayed a blend of cubism, expressionism and folk art in a reinvented form with the symbolic use of colours adding depth to the paintings.

The Annual report 2013-2014 presented by the Head girl and the Head boy showcased the rich and diverse experiences offered by the school in scholastic and co-scholastic areas.

The evening unfolded with Sursaaz- a blend of three ragas- Aashavari, Kafi and Shivaranjani. The orchestra and the choir created pure melody. The composition depicted in a metaphoric manner- the freshness and excitement of childhood with that rustic but mellifluous instrument, the flute. The veena played out the new heights to which our nation may rise if all of us play our part, inspired by our muse. The beautiful use of sitar, the swarmandal, the flute, the jaltarang, keyboard, drums, mandolin, violin, guitar and many other instruments, created fine music. The presentation depicted the ebb and flow of emotions.

The junior school students welcomed the guests through “Abhinandanam’ a blend of classical dance and contemporary dance movements.

The most spectacular event of the evening was the dance drama that displayed a myriad of emotions that are at the core of our life, our heart- Veera, Raudra, Shringara, Hasya, Karuna, Bhayanaka, Shanta. Through poetry, music and dance 260 children created pure magic.

The evening ended with the Air Force School song.
