UKG ENGLISH RHYME RECITATION (07 SEP 2018)
Recitation of
rhymes helps in the development of language skills in a big way among young
children. To help our kindergartners hone their speaking and listening skills a
‘Rhyme Recitation’ activity was organized on 07 Sep 2018, at school.
Rhymes not only
helps in learning phonics but also help children predict a missing word, learn
more about the use of prepositions and make their own strings of rhymes during
word play. This is exactly what our young TAFSians did with great confidence
during this activity. With great enthusiasm, a variety of interesting rhymes
like ‘Incy Wincy spider’, ‘If you’re happy, clap your hands’, ‘Old McDonald had
a farm’ etc were recited by them in an impressive manner. The eye catching props
like toys, cut outs, puppets etc added value to the presentation. The activity
was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
