FIGHTING CLIMATE CHANGE

 ‘Young Change Leaders Competition’ is an initiative by Times NIE. This is a platform where students get to express their opinions on the current environment crisis. This platform will bring students in front of top environmentalists, journalists & people in power. 

 All interested students from classes 6th to 9th can register online on toiyoungchangeleader.com by uploading a video (1 to 2 minutes long) on topic ‘Fighting Climate Change’. Registrations will open on Wednesday, 15th January 2020. Please refer to process mentioned below for further details. Process:- 

Step 1: Registration for the contest

• The registrations will start from 15th January 2020 and will last till 28th January 2020 by 5:00 PM.

• The entries are open for students of class 6th to 9th of schools in Delhi. 

Step 2: How to participate

• Log in to www.toiyoungchangeleaders.com to register for the Nurture Nature Young Change Leader Contest. Entries will be open from 15th January, 2020. 

• After logging in to the website, participant(s) need to fill a form with details such as name of the Participant & school and contact detail like e-mail id or phone number. 

• After filling the details mentioned above, participant(s) need to upload their video on the topic Fighting Climate Change’ in MP4 format expressing their views in English Language on the topic given by TOI/NIE and it should not cross the duration of 2 minutes. Any video over 2 minutes duration will get disqualified. 

Step 3: Top 50 students will be shortlisted by the jury

Out of them top 15 will battle it out at the Hotel Hyatt Regency , Bhikaji Cama Place , New Delhi on 6th February, 2020 for the coveted “Nurture Nature Young Change Leader Award” through the climate change extempore contest. All 50 students will be awarded on the day of finale.
