Dear Students,
CBSE Board Exams for class XII are starting on Monday, 2nd March
2015. We would like to wish all our students the very best for the
examinations!
TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
A school bus will drop and
pick up the students of the boarding house to and from the examination centre. The
bus will depart from the TAFS middle gate at 0845 hrs sharp. Other students may also avail this facility.
Subject teachers from school
will be present at the centre from 9:30-10:30 a.m. to clear last minute doubts
of students.
We are sure that you have put in all
your effort in preparing for the exam and are feeling adequately prepared.
Still some last minute tips to help you out:
LAST MINUTE TIPS
·
Visit the venue of the test at least one
day before the commencement of exams to find the exact location and time needed
to reach the centre.
·
Eat
a healthy breakfast that day, so you feel energized, but
don't eat so much that you feel full!
·
Keep adequate time in your
hand (depending on traffic
conditions) while leaving for the exam centre on the exam day. You should reach Exam centre by 09:30 a.m.
·
Double check your admit
card, identity proof and writing instruments and ensure that you are in proper school uniform. It is advised that you should carry a water bottle for the exam.
·
Do not panic even if you
haven’t been able to cover some portions. Panic is only going to reduce your
efficiency on the exam day. Just think
over the question and you might remember
something that the teacher had taught you. After all, you are studying things
that men/ women have discovered before without previous knowledge.
·
Have proper sleep the night
before the exam.
·
In between the gruelling daily academic
routine, it is very important to take
some time off to unwind. It can be simple things like hearing your
favourite music, spending time with family-friends or catching up on a
favourite television show.
·
Performing
Surya Namaskar and Pranayama
during these times can enhance concentration and add much needed efficiency
during exam time.
·
During the exam, avoid blanks. Try as hard as you can to make an intelligent guess.
Take the closest answer but remember not to take too much of your time in
answering one item. Go back and review
your answers after you finish the exam, if you still have time.
·
Parents are advised to relax and let your ward relax.
·
Parents should communicate
to them that you are happy for the hard work that your child has
put in, and are going to support them what ever be the outcome.
“There are no secrets to success. It
is the result of preparation and hard work” General Colin Powell
Once again, wishing our students the very best for the
exams!
