ADVENTURE CAMPS - JUNIOR WING
(15 March,24- 20 March,24)
Junior Wing TAFS organized adventure camps for students of all their classes beginning from UKG to class V.These camps provide holistic education, providing students with opportunities for exploration, discovery, and personal development in a safe and nurturing environment.
Class V-Overnight Camp ( 15-16 March,2024)
An exhilarating day adventure combined with an overnight camp was meticulously organised for the enthusiastic Class V students on the 15th and 16th of March 2024, within the premises of our school. With an impressive turnout of 177 eager participants, the event promised an array of exciting activities and experiences.
Upon arrival at the school on the morning of 15th March, the children, brimming with anticipation, were relieved of any exam anxieties and pressures. They eagerly settled into their assigned rooms and were promptly grouped under unique call names by camp instructors, fostering camaraderie and team spirit throughout the event.
The day commenced with a series of exhilarating activities like Commando Crawl,Mowgli Walk,Commando Net Climbing,Triple Rope Bridge,Monkey Crawl,Burma Bridge,Ladder Climbing,Rope Climbing+Tarzan Swing,Double Rope bridge,Flying Fox,Slackline,Zorb Roller,Hamster Wheel,Tent pitching information,Spider Web,Tug of War
.All designed to challenge and engage the students' physical and mental faculties. Periodic breaks for nutritious meals ensured sustained energy levels, allowing the students to fully immerse themselves in the activities.
A highlight of the day was a captivating magic show, providing much-needed respite and entertainment between activities.The evening transformed into a festive affair, with a lively party featuring music by a DJ. A delectable dinner further heightened the festive atmosphere, followed by cozy chats and bonding sessions amongst the students in their allotted rooms.
As the event drew to a close, the children were awarded for their adventurous spirit and participation, with special recognition given for the best-kept room.
Classes III & IV (18 March,2024)
The day adventure camp commenced with the enthusiastic arrival of 254 students of Grade 3 and 4, on the morning of 18 March. Excitement filled the air as students eagerly anticipated the day's activities. They were taken to the Eco Adventure Camp,Najafgarh in buses.
The camp organisers had meticulously planned a diverse range of activities to cater to the interests and abilities of all participants.Interspersed with sumptuous meals,the students enjoyed many adventure activities such as Zip Line, Wall Climbing, Burma Bridge, Balancing Beam,Long Tunnel Crossing,Commando Net, Channel Bridge, Zorb Roller, Trampoline ,Camel Cart,Bullock Cart ,Tractor Ride ,Charkha,Potter’s Wheel ,Magic Show and DJ Dance.
As the day came to a close, students boarded the buses and returned to school with smiles on their faces, filled with excitement and stories to share with their classmates and families.
Classes UKG, I & II (19 march,24 -20 March,24)
The adventure camp for 48 students of Kindergarten,110 students of Grade 1, and 101 students of Grade 2 was organised on the school premises.It turned out to be a resounding success, providing young learners with a day filled with fun, learning, and exploration. Through a diverse range of activities and experiences, students developed physical, social, and creative skills while fostering a sense of curiosity and wonder about the world around them.
An adventure area equipped with Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Hopscotch, Wall Climbing, Hop Ball, Trampoline, Tyre Tower, Double Rope Bridge, Magical Maze, Zorb Roller, Balance Beam, Tug of War, Running Bungee, Commando Crawl, Laser Beam, and Zip Line, provided students with opportunities for structured play and social interaction.The day ended with a mesmerising magic show which the children enjoyed thoroughly.
The students were provided with nutritious snack boxes to keep them charged and going through the day.Safety protocols were strictly adhered to throughout the camp, with trained staff and volunteers supervising all activities.It was a memorable and enriching experience for all participants.
