Adventure Camp, Junior Wing

Adventure camps were conducted for all classes of the Junior Wing from 6 Feb,23 to 8 Feb 23. Adventure activities promote active learning through experiences that help in developing a number of life skills. These activities not only offer physical benefits to children but also improve their ability to cope with challenging situations.
Adventure Activities at School
248 students of classes UKG-1 and 180 students of class II attended the camp during the school hours on 6-7 Feb,23.The school playground was developed into the camp area with about 10-12 activities set up. The instructors divided the students in groups and explained the dos and don’ts, before commencing with the activities. A light refreshment was provided during the course of the day.
184 students of class 3 participated in the day long camp from 8 am to 4 .30 pm on 8 Feb,23.The students enjoyed a filling breakfast, a sumptuous lunch and an evening snack during the day. They enthusiastically participated in all the activities - Commando Net, Sport climbing, Hop scotch, Hamster Wheel, Commando Crawl, Magical Maze, Mowgli Walk, Double Rope Bridge, Burma Bridge, Tyre Mess, Body Zorb, Dragon Move, Horizontal Crawl, Earth Ball
The day ended with an entertaining magic show.
Eco Adventure Camp- Outside school premises
435 students of classes 4 and 5 went to the Eco Adventure Camp, Najafgarh, for a day long outing. The campsite is situated on a 3 acre area amidst fields, giving students an exposure to undisturbed nature and farming. At the camp, the students were provided with a breakfast, lunch and an evening snack. Upon arrival, they were divided into groups and an orientation was done by trained instructors. There were 20 adventure activities set up in the area. The activities included ctivities Tractor ride, Balancing bridge, Zip line, Bullock Cart ride, Radish farming, Dance on DJ, Zorbing roll, Magic Show, Trampoline jumping, Wall climbing, Potters wheel and charkha, Balancing bridge, Tyre tower, Tunnel crossing, Burma Bridge.
The students displayed immense interest while interacting with the potter and the lady who spun yarn from cotton.The day ended with a dance on a DJ and a very enjoyable magic show.
