English Recitation Competition-Class V (26 July,22)

Recitation is the art of breathing life into poetry. To instil love for poetry an English Poem  Recitation Competition was organised for the students of Class V. The theme provided was ‘Nature’. The students brought rainbows down to earth, germinated saplings into trees, painted the sky with clouds and hailed the pitter patter of rainfall with their poems. Their enthusiasm to participate gave a resounding start to the competition. Before announcing the results, both our judges applauded everyone’s efforts and explained the finer points to improve the craft. We hope that our little Tafsians find their voice growing from strength to strength. Congratulations to the winners!

Show & Tell activity gives an opportunity to young children to foster their public speaking competency. It builds confidence & helps develop effective communication skills. To strengthen the verbal skills & self confidence among our kindergarteners a 'SHOW & TELL' activity with the theme favourite fruit/vegetable was organised on 7th July.

Encouraging healthy eating is always a good idea. The students were excited to share their descriptive narration & waited eagerly for their turns to show and speak. It was an interesting & thrilling experience to watch them sharing their feelings with their peers which provided fun & comfortable learning for everyone involved. The kids recited the rhymes on their favourite fruits. They also drew and coloured their favourite fruit/ vegetable.

It goes without saying that students involvement in individual activity infuse in them originality & self confidence.
