CIRCULAR
FOR PARENTS – CLASS V
VISION
SCREENING PROGRAMME
Dear Parents,
Amblyopia
or Lazy eye is the most common cause of paediatric visual impairment occurring
in children. Its early detection is the key to its successful treatment. The
Department of Opthalmology, Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME),
Subroto Park, will conduct a vision screening programme for class V students on
Saturday, 28 Oct 2017, in the school premises, during school hours. The goal of
this programme is to detect risk factors for poor vision at a time when
effective therapy can be initiated.
This
is a great opportunity for us to check the vision of our children and guide
them to grow into physically fit individuals. Please fill in the appended
consent form and submit to the class teacher latest by Thursday, 26 Oct 2017.
For
any further queries kindly contact Ms.Ritu Walke (8130954068) after 3:00 pm.
Looking forward to having
all our little ones grow into individuals with perfect vision!
Warm Regards
Ms.
Deepa R.Krishnan
(Headmistress)
