A workshop on Time and Stress Management is being organized for students of grades X and XII.

About the Workshop

Time management is planning activities to fit into a specific schedule is the best way of reducing stress levels amongst students. Through time management, students will be more likely to cope with stresses associated with the increased academic and co-curricular demands of school life. This workshop will guide students how they can take care of themselves physically and emotionally and to experiment with different stress relief strategies to figure out what works best to help them feel less stressed.

Resource Person

Mr. Praveen Khanna is a life mentor who enjoys being with students for their development. An English (H) post graduate did his MS in Psychotherapy to understand and develop ways to enhance students’ learnings. He is a government certified Business Communication Specialist and a Certified Training & Development Manager. His motto in life is to apply the theoretical understanding for the development of mankind.

                            Dear Parent,

                            Dengue fever is a viral illness transmitted by the Aedes mosquito.
                            Every year, in the monsoon season, Delhi sees a rise in dengue cases.
                            It is crucial to take preventive steps , in order to protect ourselves and the children, as much as possible.

                            Some of the preventive steps which can be taken are:
                            1. Check regularly and empty the containers that can collect water like flower vases, empty pots etc.
                            2. Use mosquito repellant creams, patches, lotions etc.
                            3. Wear protective clothing like full sleeves, long pants etc.
                            4. Stay informed about dengue outbreaks in the community.
                            5. Seek medical attention early at onset of symptoms.

                            We are also taking all precautionary measures, at school, to ensure that there is no mosquito breeding in the school premises. Regular spraying of mosquito repellent and fumigation is undertaken in all areas of the school campus.

                            Also in case dengue is diagnosed please inform the class teacher at the earliest.
