UKG CLASS FUNCTION – 12 MARCH 2016
The students of
Class UKG of TAFS Junior Wing celebrated an Annual Cultural Bonanza, on 12th
March 2016. The tiny tots of TAFS, put up a grand show for their parents in the
form of a Dance Drama titled ‘Alice, the Curious Girl’. It was a
beautiful depiction of Alice’s journey into the magical world and her
experiences of the excitements and adventures of life.
The show saw the
participation of all children of class UKG. Dressed in bright colourful
costumes they danced shaking their legs to numerous peppy tracks like ‘Bunny
Dance’, ‘Crazy Frog’ and ‘Splish Splash’. The gay abundance with which they performed
the contemporary dance form enthralled the audience.
To make their
journey of learning memorable and full of joy, fun and laughter, this event
ended with the beautiful message of celebrating
life in the form of a finale dance, ‘The
more we get together, the happier we will be’. The little ones were very
overwhelmed and went home with happy and unforgettable memories of their first
year of schooling.
The chief guest
of the occasion, Ms. Alka Sethi, an educationist, congratulated the shining
stars of TAFS for their amazing and happy performance. She laid great emphasis
on the message conveyed by them through their
musical show, the message of love, peace sharing and caring, which need to be
practiced by all for making this world a better place.
Ms. Amita Gupta,
the officiating Principal, congratulated the kindergartners and the teachers
for the wonderful show put up by them. In her address to the parents she
brought their attention to the fact that each child is special with their own
strengths and capabilities. They need appreciation and encouragement to pursue
their dreams.
