    TRANSITION WORKSHOP (CLASS 5)

    TRANSITION WORKSHOP (CLASS 5)- 16 MARCH 2022

    ‘Good Bye Old, Hello New!’

When little people are overwhelmed by big emotions, it's our job to share our calm, not join their chaos.

A virtual workshop was conducted by the school counsellor for class V students to enlighten them about the forthcoming transition. The workshop aimed to provide calmness to students in this period of stress & storm when along with their adolescence, they pave their way to the senior wing.

The students were acquainted with the rules and regulations of senior school, along with the newness & challenges this change will bring along. They participated in brainstorming games & discussions as a part of their preparedness. Relevance of adjustment, patience, team work and self-confidence was highlighted to the students in order to have a fruitful journey ahead. They were encouraged to create their own action plans by identifying their strengths.

Students not only participated, but enthusiastically discussed all possible concerns that ran in their minds. It surely was a session much needed for the emotional well-being of students, which will further aid effective adjustment.

      CLASS V GOOD LUCK PARTY

      CLASS V GOOD LUCK PARTY

      ( 15 March, 2022)

As the students of class V step over the threshold of the Junior Wing, it is that time of the year when we wish them ‘Good Luck’ for all their future endeavours. A Virtual 'Good Luck' party was organised for Class V students, where fun games were played with zest and enthusiasm. The atmosphere was marked with relief at the culmination of the annual assessments and the excitement of moving to a new class.

The students were all invited to the party through personal invites which addressed them with alliterated names. They made creative badges and wore them for this special event. All students wore dresses as per the class colour code which was decided upon earlier. Fun games were conducted by the class teachers amidst a lot of simultaneous clamour, energy and the need for everyone to share their thoughts. They hunted for everyday items in the house for the ‘Queen of Sheba’ and disguised themselves to escape the approaching police while acting as a spy. Some of them came up with amazing disguises in the limited time given, making it absolutely impossible to recognise them!

As the fulfilled day came to an end, the teachers wished them well with the promise to catch up with them later when the school reopens for offline classes.
