THE QUEST 2023

The Air Force School, Subroto Park hosted 'The Quest 2023-Innovate, Create, Ideate', on the 25^th and 26^th of July 2023. It was a two-day festival focussing on reimagining the learning design, breaking barriers, and opening our minds to new possibilities. The central theme was Open Vistas, which translated into sub-themes for the events such as Café of Conversations, Bring the House Down, Eco-environs, Natural and Cultural Advocators of Kenya and Turkey, and Cine Challenge Series.

The first day started with the chanting of the shloka and lighting of the lamp. It witnessed the zealous participation of eighteen schools in three competitions, the other two events were held on the second day. The judges included esteemed members of the academic community.

• In Natural and Cultural Advocators of Turkey and Kenya, the participants elaborated upon the culture and Natural fabric of these two countries through a short video.
• In Ecoenvirons the participants showcased the activities conducted by their respective schools for sustainable development.
• The Cine Challenge series was nothing less than a battle of skills where participants displayed their prowess in using digital media.
• Café of Conversations was all about discussing subjects that matter and making us better versions of ourselves.
• Bring the House Down was a unique competition that saw creative enactments of the mathematical concepts from our daily lives.

The Chief Guest for the festival was Wing Commander Manoj Kumar Yadav, Executive Director, The Air Force School, Subroto Park. While addressing the gathering, sir said that the quest is to create new horizons and to never stop furthering this journey till peace is found. He encouraged the students to aspire for a better tomorrow, a better world, which is sustainable and progressive.

The valedictory ceremony commenced with the principal Ms. Amita Gupta giving away the prizes and certificates to the winners of the the different events.

The event was a huge success, showcasing the intellectual prowess and eloquence of young minds. The participants displayed remarkable confidence and maturity, and the judges were highly impressed with their performances. The competition was a testament to the importance of sensitivity toward our environment, critical thinking, and effective communication skills. It also asserted the importance of extracurricular activities in a student’s overall growth and development. We look forward to more such events in the future.

On August 15 2022, our honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi put forward a development strategy for the next twenty-five years, to fulfil the vision of a developed country by India’s Independence century – 15^th August 2047.

On 6 July 2023 the students of The Air Force School, Subroto Park lead by their Head Boy - Aditya Kushwaha and Head Girl – Daizal Dandona and the teachers took Panch Pran – a pledge to pay respect to the motherland and to develop the nation completely in the next twenty-five years. The students pledged to serve others, to protect the environment, to protect diversity by respecting each other and everyone’s opinions and beliefs. The students ended the pledge with a feeling of patriotism and a sense of responsibility and duty towards the betterment of our nation. 

ICE CREAM PARTY - CLASS UKG (07 JULY 2023)

Ice cream in a bowl,
Ice cream is sweet,
Ice cream is delicious,
It’s my favourite treat.

Summer season can be personified as everyone’s never ending love for ice cream. An ice cream party was organised for the students of UKG on Friday, 7th July where they were treated with yummy ice creams in order to enjoy a cool treat on hot summer day.

Stirring their taste buds they enjoyed the delicacy with their classmates, teachers and ayah didi. After having their delightful cup of ice cream, they danced to some peppy songs & merrily sang summer rhymes. They also had fun doing tearing & pasting ice cream craft activity. The video on how ice cream is made added to their high spirits & they learnt about its ingredients. They were also taught about healthy eating habits & good hygiene.
